Welcome to
Kithship is a social health club for adults in and around Toronto to connect more meaningfully to their inner and outer worlds. Through intentionally designed socials, group workshops, and personalized peer support services, we promote urban social health initiatives. We invite you to bring your full self, balance the silly and the sacred, and delight in community with us.
You belong.
Our Values
Kindness
Delight
We treat ourselves, others, and the natural world with sincerity, respect, dignity, and a commitment to understanding.
Even when it doesn’t feel like it, the universe is full delight., and we are dedicated to feeling it to the fullest.
Play
Diversity
Our lives are enriched when we have relationships with people of different ages, races, genders, orientations, faiths, cultures, and perspectives.
People, especially women, are often pressured to give up play with age. Play is a key actor in our ability to connect with ourselves and others.
Reciprocity
To achieve harmony, as with all members of nature, we must find balance in both giving and receiving. This includes energy, teachings, care, and all social and practical currencies.
Village
Join a group of 5-7 community members in your neighbourhood to exchange meals weekly. Explore new foods, gain new skills, and make new friends.
Community members that register will answer a few questions about their food requirements and preferences and be matched with people with similar needs and tastes in their neighbourhood. After that you will meet up with your club weekly to exchange meals. Each person is responsible for bringing a serving for each member of the club.
Beyond weekly meetups with your group to exchange meals, you’ll be the first to be invited to Kithship Village exclusive educational events such as cooking classes, community garden tours, and foraging workshops.
This initiative serves many purposes:
Helps individuals, especially those living alone, to save money through encouraging and justifying bulk purchasing and preparation that reduces overall food costs and time spent preparing food.
Facilitates social eating, associated with positive health outcomes.
Promotes intentionality around food sourcing, preparation, and consumption.
In order for community to thrive, we need to be intentional, reciprocal, and consistent. This club’s purpose to connect you with other people that want those same things and value the beauty and importance of food as a vessel of community care.
This round of registration is open until April 30th, 2026. Groups will be matched in May.

new!
You’ve probably been hearing people say lately “everybody wants a village, no one wants to be a villager” and I just don’t think that’s true at all.
If enough people are saying that, surely there are plenty of people more than eager to be a villager. The real problem is: there is no village. Our physical landscape (here in Toronto, and in much of North America) is not designed with the priority of human interconnectedness. Our landscape is the result of centuries of European colonization, that uprooted, displaced, and slaughtered the existing complex interconnected living system that had been in place for thousands of years. Centuries of calculated community fragmentation cannot be combatted with this “nobody wants to be a villager” individualistic mindset. The root of the issue is geography (we don’t have a village) and education (we don’t know how to be good villagers). But most people do in fact want to belong to a village and be a villager.
As humans, we naturally yearn for belonging, a sense of home, a place where we feel safe, seen, and wholly loved.
The first initiative of Village is More Than Supper Club. Community members that register will be matched with people with similar needs and tastes in their neighbourhood. After that you will meet up with your club weekly to exchange meals. Each person is responsible for bringing a serving for each member of the club.

Social Health‍ ‍is the aspect of your wellbeing related to the depth of your relationships and the meaningfulness of your connections with others. Just like physical fitness and mental wellness requires resources, skills, and supports - so does your social health.

May 17th, 2026 | 11:00AM-1:30PM | High Park, Toronto
Cultural disconnection to nature in North America is causing words to describe the natural world to go extinct To bring awareness to this phenomenon and combat it, we are gathering to conduct a word search meets scavenger hunt.
Participants will be split into small groups and be given a list of nature-related words currently at risk of extinction. Your task is to find a plant, creature, or phenomenon that can be described using a word (or few) on your list.
Afterwards, we will gather to share what we found over snacks and refreshments!
